Whitstable has a beautiful working harbour, constructed in 1831, situated in the heart of the town.
It is a place where you can go on seatrips on the Greta, eat some oysters, or even visit the Harbour Village with 33 independent shops and food outlets.
The beach is a picturesque pebble beach overlooked by traditional colourful beach huts.
The beach stretches around the town and is a short walk from the centre. Named as a Blue Flag beach in 2015, a fantastic place to have a swim.

Whitstable is a seaside town on the north coast of Kent, in south-east England. It is about 15 minutes from Canterbury and 1 hour from London.

Car - Whitstable is easily accessible via the M2, and then Whitstable is a short distance down the A299. Parking is available close to the race start. There is street parking available at no charge.
Train - there are regular direct trains from London to Whitstable, it is then approximately 1 mile to the race start. Taxis are available.
