Whitstable Harbour


Whitstable has a beautiful working harbour, constructed in 1831, situated in the heart of the town.


It is a place where you can go on seatrips on the Greta, eat some oysters, or even visit the Harbour Village with 33 independent shops and food outlets.

The Beach


The beach is a picturesque pebble beach overlooked by traditional colourful beach huts.


The beach stretches around the town and is a short walk from the centre. Named as a Blue Flag beach in 2015, a fantastic place to have a swim.



The High Street


Whitstable's main high street, Oxford Street, is full of numerous independant stores, art galleries, restaurants and bars, you are sure to find something that interests you.

Whitstable is a seaside town on the north coast of Kent, in south-east England. It is about 15 minutes from Canterbury and 1 hour from London.
It is famous for its Oysters, Independent shops and fine restaurants.

Car - Whitstable is easily accessible via the M2, and then Whitstable is a short distance down the A299. Parking is available close to the race start. There is street parking available at no charge. 


Train - there are regular direct trains from London to Whitstable, it is then approximately 1 mile to the race start. Taxis are available.
